Tell us a bit about your career history
I’ve worked with an incredibly varied bunch of brands throughout the years, to say the least! After graduating university with a Fashion Marketing degree in 2015, my first marketing role was at a travel marketing agency where I stayed for over 4 years working with the likes of Uganda, Zambia and Mauritius tourism boards. Once COVID ruined that dream, I helped a start-up social media agency find its feet, working with brands from a wide array of sectors including leisure, property, fitness and education. Having always worked at agencies, I wanted to try my hand in-house so I bagged a job in a leading social-care provider’s marketing department. But, it wasn’t long until I realised I missed agency life and that’s led me to where I am today, at Framework!
Please share a memorable career highlight
It would have to be jetting off to Zambia for a 10 day ‘work’ trip to ‘gather content’ and ‘uncover news stories’ on safari!
What are you most proud of achieving?
I headed up the rebrand and ran the design and production of a travel-trade publication that went on to produce 10 issues, which was a fun project!
Where would you like your career to go in the future?
I like to live in the present as much as possible, so who knows! I’d like to stay working at Framework and progress in my role as social media and digital marketing evolves.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love travelling and exploring when I can, whether it’s visiting a new city or hiking in the countryside. I love asian food so you’ll find me in one of Nottingham’s amazing japanese restaurants at least once a month. I’m also partial to a Sunday shopping trip to Homesense, which is often the highlight of my week.
Tell us an interesting fact about you…
I once met Steve-O from Jackass at Rock City and he told me I ‘rocked’ so that must be true.
