Tell us a bit about your career history?
As a sociology graduate, I started my working career as a care worker, primarily working with children and adults with autism. I did this for 10 years, however I was yearning for more of a challenge, one which required me to problem solve. That’s when I took up coding in my spare time, I thoroughly enjoyed this and decided to make it my focus. I have been working as a developer for around 2 years and I find I am constantly learning and picking up new skills.

What are you most proud of achieving?
I am super proud of becoming a developer, I don’t think I’ve ever studied so hard! Coming from a very non-technical background I found it very challenging but also very rewarding. I still remember the day I got my first job as a junior developer!

Where would you like your career to go in the future?
I joined Framework Design about 2 months ago, a company which I have admired for some time. Now being an employee I can honestly say it is such a pleasure to be working alongside some super talented people. I hope to continue my career and progression in this industry and hope I get to work on some exciting projects.

What do you like to do I your spare time?
I love to play with my dog and teach her tricks, she’s pretty good at hide and seek now. I’m also bit of a movie buff so I love nothing more than watching a good movie. Interstellar is my favourite, but I also love anything by Quentin Tarantino.
