On Monday 18th March, Framework sponsored the first Let’s See The Code developer meet up at Canalhouse, Nottingham.
Let’s See The Code aims to bring developers of all levels together to learn, connect, experiment and collaborate on live projects.
The code is the star of the show.
The event welcomed over 25 people through its doors as well as many attendees joining virtually from as far away as Copenhagen!
The brains behind the initiative is experienced Developer and Founder of Unchain Life, Chris Kemp, who is passionate about bringing devs together to solve problems outside of the 9-5.
The evening saw Chris talk the crowd through a demo in Rust, followed by a presentation with Framework’s own Senior Developer, Alana, who took everyone through a heavily-animated Frontend project designed by Framework’s Lead Designer, Jim. This project is designed to be an ongoing, collaborative effort to be worked on during the in-person events.
It finished off with a Q&A session and, of course, some food and drinks.
"As the facilitator of the first Let's See The Code event, I couldn't be more thrilled with the amazing venue that provided the perfect backdrop for our gathering. It was great to witness the event sparking compelling conversations among developers of all levels and from diverse professional backgrounds."
CHRIS KEMP, FOUNDER OF LET'S SEE THE CODE
"I'm really happy with how the first event turned out. A heartfelt thank you to all who joined us. If you have a passion for code, this is the place to be. Whether you're a seasoned coder or just starting out, come along and join in with our community – you won't regret it!"
