Duality Through Design
Central to the Lords of the Fallen experience is the ability to move between two parallel dimensions. CI Games wanted this mechanic reflected in the website itself. We worked closely with the CI Games team to explore interactive treatments of this “duality”, allowing users to flip between realms using a lantern (a key item in the game) as a trigger. This narrative device became a UX feature, helping users toggle between light and dark versions of the homepage in real time.
Technical Precision Meets Creative Power
The site, built on a custom WordPress setup, gives CI Games full control of content without compromising design integrity. High-resolution assets, videos, and transparent-background imagery were handled with advanced performance optimisation techniques to ensure a seamless experience across devices, even under bandwidth constraints.
Our team also consulted on responsive transitions from desktop to mobile, ensuring that the visual drama of the site didn’t lose impact on smaller screens. Features like sticky scroll sections, interactive asset reveals, and intuitive content layers all worked together to keep the site fast, fluid, and cinematic.
