Mounir- Framework Design's Website Developer

Tell us a bit about your career so far and how you got into development…

In the Summer of 2020, I moved to the UK and so, Framework Design is the first job in my UK career. But before my life at Framework, I worked as a website developer in France.

I originally became a web developer because I was fascinated with the idea of websites and the technology behind them. I started playing around with lines of code, prototyping and then all of a sudden I was building websites from scratch. This was back in the days of the Dreamweaver (bonus points to anyone who remembers what that is!).

What do you enjoy most about being a developer?

The favourite parts of my job are when I am being proactive and I am asked for my advice and thoughts on a subject. I like mastering a task so when I am given the opportunity to talk about it, I know its ins and outs.

I pride myself on being a lifetime learner. I would like to continuously improve my knowledge of website development. Whilst no one knows what the future holds, at the very least I would like to be seen as someone with deep expertise in web project development.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I enjoy spending time with my family – I have 3 daughters and a wife so it’s impossible to avoid them! I also love photography and videography and will happily shoot anything, anywhere. I enjoy taking photos of my family and friends – they are my favourite models. I like to think photos act as souvenirs of your past which you can look at when you get older.

And if you can’t tell already, I love travelling too.
