Hi there!

Tell us about your employment history…
My first job was, like many, within hospitality… The World-Renowned Trent Bridge Inn… glass collector and pint pourer extraordinaire. Then onto event management at the Albert Hall in Nottingham, then over to the West coast of Wales to run my own fresh bread and tea shop…. No really, I did. Then I went into Hotel management and landed a job within the Premier Inn chain.

After several years of shift working, never having Christmas off and having a then  5-year-old son, I moved into the magical world of banking… which is where I stayed for 10 years…. Roles included account management, Area marketing manager and stakeholder manager. I then moved to an international PR agency which was a lot of fun and I learnt a lot about B2B advertising and measuring success. I was then offered an absolute dream of a job within Domestic & General heading up their UK Communications Team. It was a lot of travelling, it was hard work but I loved it and the people I worked with…

Tell us about some of your career highlights
I worked for an international PR agency and within 2 years I went from being an Account Manager to Agency Director. Pretty proud of that.

Then, finally, alongside my other half, Stephan Hayward, I started to help out with a little company we like to call Framework Design…

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I used to enjoy baking, holidaying and going to the gym…. But now I have a 2-year-old my hobbies mainly revolve around Peppa Pig, talking about sleep, and tricking a toddler to eat vegetables (if you need any tips, drop me a line).

Tell us a fun fact about you
Little unknown fact about myself, I have been on Central TV twice… Once dressed as Pudsey Bear waving at the traffic outside the BBC building (the outfit was large, heavy and impossible to see out of!). The other was part of a huge Red Nose Day fundraising campaign. I had to speak live on TV about what we were doing! Scary!
