Tell us about your career so far, what have you learned? 

There’s not enough room on the page for detail so I’ll list a few of the jobs I’ve had; waitress, barmaid, travel agent, store assistant, teacher, media executive, marketing manager, social media agency owner. Most of these jobs were in my earlier years, I soon fell in love with the creativity and possibilities of marketing and haven’t looked back in 9 years.

Please share a memorable career highlight
When I worked at Center Parcs I was invited to a festival by one of the agencies we worked with. At the event, everything was free including Grey Goose vodka and tacos. Craig David performed, there were fair rides, it was amazing. That’s when I knew I wanted to work agency side!

What are you most proud of achieving?

Starting my social media agency, Rate Social, in 2018. I grew the business through the pandemic and had a team of 4. I loved delivering campaigns which would excite the client. Having an office where we could film silly TikToks and have fun as a team was also amazing.

Where would you like your career to go in the future?

I love seeing how social media evolves and the creative capabilities within the industry. I want to work with more brands that are ready to try new and wonderful ways to connect with their audience. It’s my goal to become an industry leader within the social media space.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Any chance to do something new and I’ll be there, I want to learn how to sculpt pottery this year. I love a big walk and keeping active at the gym or doing yoga. I also find people fascinating and love reading about human behaviour and philosophy.
